Prepare Your Family

With the recent cycle of emergencies and disasters, including wildfires, excessive heat, drought, floods, ice storms, and a pandemic, we are learning that being prepared can make a big difference in your chances of survival. Oregon Department of Emergency Management recommends that we prepare to be self-sufficient for at least two weeks during a disaster. Being 2 Weeks Ready means having a plan and enough supplies for you and your household to survive on your own for a full two weeks should a disaster occur. Getting prepared doesn't need to take a lot of time or a lot of money. Take it one step at a time.
