Calling CQ for ARRL Field Day '24! (Ham Radio) - Sat, June 22, 2024

If you are a HAM Radio Operator, you won't want to miss this opportunity to practice your skills! ​Field Day is the most popular amateur radio event held annually in the US. On Saturday, June 22, 2024, more than 35,000 amateur radio operators will gather with their clubs, groups, and friends to operate from remote locations. This event is organized by the American Radio Relay League (ARRL).

Some of our Neighbors Ready! volunteers are also members the Beaverton Emergency Radio Team (BERT). BERT supports the City of Beaverton during an incident or a disaster as part of the city's Emergency Management Program. BERT is planning to participate in Field Day 2024! 
Check out the BERT booth at Library Park in front of (South) the downtown Beaverton Library and across from the Beaverton’s Farmers Market.  We will start setting up at 8 am, and then start operating at 11 am.
All BERT and CERT members and interested amateur radio operators are invited to join BERT's field day operations. Whether you want to operate a radio or to learn more about the Beaverton Emergency Radio Team and how you could assist, you are welcome! ​
